What LeafSMP is
LeafSMP is a small, whitelisted Minecraft Java survival server for players aged 18 and over. We build bases, work on shared projects and trade at the shops around spawn.
The feel is similar to Hermitcraft: people doing their own thing in a shared world, helping each other out and getting to know their neighbours. There are twenty player slots.
Vanilla survival
We run Paper with settings chosen to preserve vanilla mechanics, including TNT duping and familiar redstone behaviour. Mob spawning is adjusted so players can use their farms without one person taking the whole mob cap.
The difficulty is Hard and keep inventory is off. Everyone has one /home, plus /back, /spawn and teleport requests. No client mods are required.
Looking after the world
There are no land claims. Respect other builds, ask before taking things and keep shared areas safe.
Block changes and container activity are logged. If something is damaged or stolen, tell us in Discord so we can investigate and arrange repairs.
Free to play
There are no paid ranks, crates, server shop or donation link. Everyone gets the same gameplay commands.
Players run their own shops at spawn, usually trading in diamonds.
How it is run
Lewis hosts and maintains the server on his own hardware in the UK, with fibre and battery backup.
World backups run every two hours, with copies stored elsewhere and regular restore checks. Monitoring alerts Lewis when something needs attention.
Who runs it
Lewis runs the server. Trusted members help review applications and look into problems. Lewis makes the final call on moderation and anything not covered by the rules.
